A group of 23 teachers from ILBC were on the study tour to Western Illinois University in the United States to attend the one-month Professional Development Programme. The topics in the programme include
✔️ Adolescent Psychology,
✔️ Early Literacy,
✔️ Mindfulness for Educators,
✔️ Public Speaking,
✔️ Educational Philosophy and Policy,
✔️ Constructive Method of Facilitating Moral/Ethics in the classroom,
✔️ Preparing students for Public Functions.
They also participated in several social and cultural activities such as Easter day: Cultural shows (Shakespeare play, BYOP (bring your own play), Gala dance, Opera show, Sun and High rope team building activity. Places they visited were The Capital Building, The Lincoln Museum, The Lincoln Home in Springfield wildflower tour in Argyle Lake, Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum in Hannibal, Missouri, Chicago( Lake Michigan, Millennium Park, Navy Pier Ferris wheel). Snowing in spring is one of their unexpected experiences.
